It's Earth Day in the Emerald City, and bloggers aren't letting it pass by without a mention. Central District News Blog has info on how to get some trees planted in your neighborhood. West Seattle Blog explains how some third graders are making a difference, and Dateline Earth has the scoop on how vodka and cats that are toilet trained could save the planet. Seattle Transit Blog has info on a press conference today at Union Station, where participants will call for a Sound Transit plan on the ballot this year. And The Seattle Times offers a primer on "green speak" (anyone know a "locavore?"). Finally, if you're curious about what the Mariners are doing to help the environment, click here.
