That's what Belltowner asks about the dress code posted at one neighborhood nightclub, which requires guys to wear "button down collared shirts" with "no athletic wear," among a long list of restrictions. Writes Erica, "I don't wear baseball caps or baggy pants personally, but what if I did? Does that mean I'm bound to shoot someone?"
Does "button down collared shirts" mean that the collars need to be buttoned? Or should it be "button down, collared shirts" :)
why support places that identifies worthiness by the shirt you wear? head up to 2nd and bell to shorty's, mama's and the lava lounge if you are not down with a scene like that.
clothing restrictions and covers are the fastest way to deter me.
dont complain about a places rules, just dont go there. there are plenty of non-uptight places belltown to support.
A business owner should have every right to place dress codes or other restrictions (within the law, of course) as he/she wishes. If you don't like it, do as elle suggests, and take your business elsewhere.
