The Vera Project - Seattle's all-ages music and arts center - is in the midst of its spring fundraising drive. The organization is in need of roughly $33,000 to finish paying for its new location at the Seattle Center and to continue providing cultural opportunities for kids (besides providing a safe, all ages hangout, they also help youngsters pursue careers in music). Definitely worth supporting. Also, the group reports that show attendance is up 50 percent since moving into their new space. (Link via Sub Pop Records blog.)
