Tully's wants to hear your longest, most high maintenance drink order. And if your drink actually tastes good, despite the lengthy qualifiers, you'll win a $100 gift certificate. One winner is chosen each week through June, at which point PEMCO Insurance will include all of the winners' names on a $10,000 donation to Children's Hospital.
What makes a winning super-long coffee order? Tully's says "complexity, individualistic, authenticity and Northwesty" (whatever that means). Tully's has posted some of the winning orders:
Jenaea Bush: "Veinte cup of ice with soy poured over it until 2/3 full then filled almost to the top of the cup with chai. Add 1 ¼ pumps white chocolate, 6 pumps vanilla, stir, then 2 ristretto shots on top, stir again and serve."
Don Godfrey: "Veinte iced 2% quad ristretto, spilt shot Cookies and Crème mint mocha. Easy on the ice with 1¾ packets of Equal, no whip, topped with velvety, bone dry foam and a dash of cinnamon."
Elizabeth Wade: "Half-caff, grande, rice milk latte with 5 dashes of cinnamon in the bottom of the cup, two pump sugar-free Irish Cream syrup, very light foam, 175° F (In my personal cup so I get a 10 cent discount)."
Sally Rampersad: "Double grande, split shot, extra hot soy intense dark chocolate mocha with no foam, add one raw sugar and extra whip with a sleeve on the cup."

Iced Venti Mocha with 4 pumps chocolate, 3 shots decaf. Before you put the milk in, stir the chocolate & espresso. Stop pouring milk as it reaches 3 inches from the top. One scoop ice with room.
Iced quad grande in a venti cup 3/4 decaf 2 pump peppermint 2 pump white mocha 1/2 soy 1/2 nonfat 5 splenda well stirred light ice extra whip with caramel and mocha drizzle vanilla powder on top peppermint white chocolate mocha!

if someone ordered one of those in front of me, i'd have a hard time not laughing while simultaneously fighting the urge to kick them in the back of the legs.
I thought at first that Kay's order ended with one scoop of the moon....
