The winners of the 12th annual Webby Awards were announced yesterday, and according to John Cook's Venture Blog, a few Seattle companies were chosen among the 70 categories. Funny fuzz ball Web site I Can Haz Cheezburger? won the People's Voice Award for both the humor and weird categories. Zillow won the Webby in the Real Estate category, while Farecast won the Travel category. Wetpaint won the Webby in the telecommunications category for the Sidekick Wiki it created for T-Mobile.
