Oh, say it isn't so. To comply with a King County Health Board measure, Dick's, the Seattle fast-food burger chain, has eliminated trans-fat oil from frying, changing the taste of its fries, says the Big Blog. "We've had a number customers say they're fine with it, and a number of customers say they detest it," said Dick's general manager Ken Frazier. "It's still a very good product, but it isn't the same." The company started using a soy-palm blend shortening April 28, the biggest change to Dick's fries since 1954. "I can tell the difference in a heartbeat," Frazier said. So far Queen Anne customers don't seem to mind, and Seattlest probably thinks the change was long overdue, since they said Dick's fries sucked even with the trans-fats. (Photo from Flickr)

P.S. Incidently, Peter on the Emerald City ComiCon post says one of this year's ads shows the Hulk holding a Dick's bag.

Soy is everywhere and there are studies saying that the estrogens that are in soy may block female's estrogen from getting into receptors and the body made estrogens are better. In children maturing can be seen faster and in males it can have reproductive conseguences. Say no to soy!
