Over the weekend, The New York Times Magazine profiled Seattle-based Destee-Nation and their cool t-shirts. The company creates vintage-looking t-shirts using logos or ads for real businesses, usually small neighborhood bars or restaurants. Some of their shirts feature local spots such as King's Hardware, the Buckaroo Tavern and the (late) Sunset Bowl. A portion of the sale goes to the business featured on the t-shirt. Their shirts are on now sale at Seattle-area and Southern California Nordstroms, with Hawaii and Northern California soon to follow. (Via Grit City)
