The Daily Weekly blog this week writes that Seattle chef Tom Douglas is breaking into the field of real estate. Douglas is working with developers in Bellevue to design homes with "Tom Douglas Signature Kitchens." These kitchens promise 30-inch deep counter-tops, extra storage and work space and a "chef's inspiration." Later this summer the restaurant mogul plans to expand his brand name even more, by offering a line of kitchen supplies on Amazon.com.

Nice site and beautiful kitchens. We are planning a remodel of our 1921 kitchen but with our budget we'll be buying IKEA cabnets.
