Well, sort of. MyBallard.com today links to a new Pixar film called "Up," which seems to loosley mirror Edith's story. "Up" tells the story of an elderly man who lives in a little home, surrounded by the big city. Images from the film posted online, including the one below (courtesy of Andy Castro), resemble Edith's former home, which was nearly swallowed by Ballard development.
In Pixar's film, the 78-year-old man eventually escapes by tying a bunch of balloons to his home and floating away to new adventures. Find out more here.
