The eighth day of the eight month of the eighth year (8/08/2008) is considered so lucky, that China selected it as opening day of the Olympic ceremonies. Thousands of couples are tying the knot today in hopes of good fortune, and in Washington state, a lucky child was born. Maggie May Jones was born at 8:08 a.m. (no kidding) at Tacoma General Hospital. She weighs just over 8 pounds. Her mom, a nurse in Gig Harbor, told KING 5: "We were actually joking about it in the delivery room, the doctor and some nurses and my husband and I are like, wow she could actually be born at eight in the morning or something, and she was born at 8:08."

It is wonderful to believe in good fortune. I believe that the number 8 will give you many twists and turns and learning experiences, but nothing really bad will happen to you. I turned 18 on 08/08/88 and 38 on 08/08/08. Congratulations to all...
