MyBallard.com tracked down the man behind a number of murals popping up around Seattle lately, particularly in Ballard and Fremont. Ryan Henry Ward is creating the artwork - sometimes free of charge - with hopes of discouraging graffiti and getting the word out about his work. The colorful creations appear on the Triangle Lounge in Fremont and on Episcopal Bookstore to name a few. He hopes to paint 50 murals in the city of Seattle. You can also see his work at the Orange Splot Gallery in Fremont.

Glad they were able to read it first in the Ballard News-Tribune, then copy it.
