Bellevue co. launches open source directory Bookmark and Share

Bellevue company Ohloh announced today it's created the largest directory of open source software, with more than 260,000 projects, says John Cook's Venture Blog. "The site encourages users to edit, add and discuss projects, ranging from well known open source software such as MySQL and Mozilla Firefox to lesser known efforts such as CakePHP and Drupal." Ohloh gives the underlying code and offers metrics, showing which projects are the most popular among developers.
