After 99 years, the Lakewood Seward Park Community Club is in danger of closing, reports the Rainier Valley Post. The community is invited to attend the next Lakewood Seward Park Community Club meeting this Thurs., Feb. 12th at 7 p.m.at 4916 South Angeline Street. The group will address many topics, including the future of the organization and whether it can survive the economic downturn or should be put up for sale after nearly 100 years in existence. "All options are on the table including selling the property," said resident Tom Acker in an email to residents. Thursday's meeting will be the first in a series of brainstorming sessions "which will lead to some critical decisions this spring."
