Crews sprayed the hydro seed solution - which includes Red Clover, Lupine and California Poppies - last year, as part of landscaping for the I-5 Everett HOV freeway expansion project. Drivers tell WSDOT they look forward to the flowers during their commute and call them a "nice little de-stressor."
