I've blogged about Seattle Works here before. It's an organization that connects Seattleites in their 20s and 30s with volunteer and leadership opportunities - and really great people. This weekend is the organization's annual fundraiser, Emerald City Swank. The event includes live auctions, a raffle, a dinner and dancing. Proceeds benefit Seattle Works, which facilitated more than 25,000 volunteer hours in our community last year alone. I've attended Emerald City Swank before and it's indeed swanky. If you need an excuse to get dressed up, this is it. Click here to learn more.
