nw-flower-and-garden-show.jpgThe Northwest Flower and Garden show runs Feb. 3-7 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center in downtown Seattle, but if you buy tickets by Feb. 2, you'll save $4 on the admission price.

The 22nd annual show's theme is "Beauty and Functionality," capitalizing on the buzz around the new catchword "sustainability." The show also includes more family-friendly attractions, including a butterfly house and a "Sproutopia" children's area.

You can buy tickets at more than 75 local nurseries or online.

If you wait until the show, tickets will cost you $20 at the door.
