Kirkland's Top Chef

It's really great that the owner and chef of one my favorite Eastside restaurants has won the 2008 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef in the Northwest.
Cafe Juanita's Holly smith received the honor and deservingly so!
According to the Times, Smith is a third-time nominee for the prestigious award.
If you've ever eaten at Cafe Juanita you'd know why she's been honored and if you haven't, you need to experience the wonderful atmosphere of the restaurant and the fabulous cusine.
