Bellingham singer/songwriter Janet Drew debuts her brand new album, This Road, in a free concert this Sunday, August 24, 6:30 PM at the Fairhaven Library. Originally scheduled for the Fairhaven Village Green, the concert has been relocated due to inclement weather. The new CD will be on sale for $15.
Drew's third album, This Road melds the artist's unmistakeable voice with bluegrass, pop/country, and emotive ballad arrangements of thirteen original songs. Lyrical themes range from memoirs of home and family to to the hope and struggle of everyday living. The Fairhaven Library is located at the 1117 12th Street in Bellingham's historic Fairhaven District. Take the Old Fairhaven Parkway exit off I-5 and head west to 12th Street. Turn right on 12th Street and proceed to the northeast corner of 12th and Mill Street.
