Here's a note I sent to KING5/KONG about the order of stories in tonight's news. If you share the same perspective, please let them know so they hear how we feel!

Dear Jesse,
I have a problem to report, and it's about the order of story coverage in tonight's 10 o'clock news.

A child was hit and the driver ran. She was shown bloody, a plea for the driver to come forward. The V/O even stated that 'police hope the driver will come forward after seeing the story'. What story, I ask. The one aired after the warning to drink lots of water tomorrow, after the story about a Seahawks photoshoot to help their PR (as the story itself stated), after a story about a bus that caught on fire with no fatalities and no injuries due to a flat tire?

How little your team member/s feel for this child and the crime committed against her. How misguided a choice.

Please exert your influence on your team, for such mis-prioritization is to the detriment of a child's well-being, justice, and the trust so-far given to KING5/KONGTV by viewers like myself.
