Seattle band "The Bouchards" released their debut CD "High Water Line" today on Double Dice Records.
The Bouchards play Country, Rock, and Americana style music and have been compared to artists such as Wilco, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Tom Petty, and Gary Allan. The Bouchards bring tight vocal harmonies, driving guitars, and an atmospheric blend of pedal steel and keyboards to intimate tales of love, loss and renewal.
The Bouchards' lineup features Dennis Tevlin on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bill Preib on electric guitar and vocals, Bob Kahr on drums and vocals, Geoff Duncan on electric bass guitar, and "Country Dave" Harmonson on pedal and lap steel guitar.
"The Bouchards rocked Jules Maes Saloon while patrons paired off to do what Seattle crowds almost never do - dance! Couples twirled, swayed and bopped around the floor while the band pounded out a mix of country classics and fiery originals." (Seattle Sound Magazine, March 2008)
