we like adventures. do you?

today was the first of many.
we found ourselves wandering the streets of capitol hill, several round-a-bouts later we pulled in along side a row of parisian imposteresque trees. we braced ourselves upon emergence from our toaster oven transport, it was COLD. most ardently searching for the treasure hidden within volunteer park alas we were conquered. our russian hats were no match for its mighty gales. we hopped like birdies back to our nest otherwise known as the "zoom zoom" or "toaster oven" (additional nicknames to come). a few camel statues and polaroid photos later we were on our merry way, it was still berry cold.

green light, yellow light, red light, round-a-bout, and we arrived, parking precisely 25 feet from the fire hydrant, i promise. giddy with expectation for the winter sale brunch at last waltz a (quite high end, pretty to look at, but we are fairly thrifty girls) vintage boutique on 18th ave. we were pleasantly surprised at this secluded cluster of shops (vacant art gallery, coffee, clothes, barber, theater) what more could a person ask for? they were serving mimosas and quiche which we were unable to partake in, we were overcome with grief. $300, $400, $500 later.. just kidding. we were pleasantly surprised by the shimmering chandeliers in at last (barber shop, unable to find a link), after a momentary peek we were on our way once again.

stopped by le' frock, we fell into a staring contest with a beautiful hat. end of story.

its seattle, all roads lead to coffee. yum! bauhaus, we love the haus (white chocolate mochas + books + sliding ladders - graffiti art = perfection)
