Relaxation Beverage ViB Hits Seattle

The growing relaxation beverage category and begins and ends with Vacation In A Bottle, or ViB.

ViB has recently expanded into the Seattle area with the distribution deal with Columbia distributing company. As a leader in the relaxation beverage industry and chain authorizations, ViB is now available at Fred Meyer, QFC, Albertsons, 7 Eleven, AMPM, Jackson's Food Stores.

With the relaxation beverage trend explosion, many extreme relaxation beverages sparked a beverage war within the category. Melatonin-based drinks with controversial ingredients raised consumer concern and skepticism for the entire category leaving family friendly beverages like ViB to educate consumers on the benefits of non-melatonin based beverages. ViB is based on the ingredient L-theanine, the main ingredient in green tea, to provide calm while maintaining focus.

We are in the middle of a paradigm shift. 2010 will be the year of the relaxation category, now with 30+ players in the relaxation category.

"In 2009, the relaxation category had a surge of new product entrants and ViB experienced a 252-percent increase in sales,² explains Travis Hollman, ViB co-founder.
