On Monday, August 16, exactly 33 years to the day since Elvis retreated to his Memphis mansion bathroom - and never returned, the Official Bad Art Museum of Art and Café Racer will be having an evening of memorial tribute to Elvis, the Man and the Memory.
The celebration will include screenings of specially selected Elvis film footage on Café Racer's "indoor drive-in" screen and Hi-Def widescreen bar TV, Elvis music on the sound system, Elvis prizes for Best Costume, Elvis cocktail specials, and of course, Elvis food, including peanut butter and banana sandwiches! Elvis himself may show up, since he's always welcome back to Seattle.
